I'm finally making an active account here, so I thought I might as well write a journal entry. Now, as is my custom with every website with a journal, the first entry is basically a combined introduction of myself with a critique of the website itself.

After submitting all my planned deviations all at once, I have a number of annoyances, one of them being that selection system for your work. You know, the one with three billion categories that could easily be shrunk down to about six? Yeah, that one. The only reason it didn't take me ten minutes to put everything up, as opposed to a few hours, is because it took my that long to find out which categories my own work went into.

The next thing, I can't control much of my own profile really. It's great to be able to hide comments, but can't delete them? Okay. It's like, 'Haha look at all those hidden comments, that guy must be a noob.' I know, I know. Dramatization. But meh.

Either way, annoyances. But seriously, this is a neat website, aside from all the times I clicked submit and got an error message. I like the idea, and I'm glad I was finally able to make an account here.

So about me. I'm eighteen years old, a college sophomore in Southern California, USA. I have a job somewhere, I'm just not sure what it is since I'm not getting paid for it. I'll tell you when I find that out. I'm a writer, photographer, reader, ex-gymnast (who still tries out the old tricks) athlete, singer, keyboardist, and more. Yar.

I like most foods, I love the band Nightwish, I like to sleep (college makes one sleep-deprived) and I love music in general, just not some genres.

I hate only very few things. Liars, thieves, bullies, and yaoi. There is only one person who can bother me with that, and she only does that because no matter how many times I ask, she will not stop. But anyone else, be warned!

I don't have a huge store of self-esteem, especially when it comes to my own work. I was literally joyous when I saw a few people favourited (is that a word?) my works as I was putting them up.
