So, I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year. I signed up for it a few times before but never really followed through. I was going through far too much and had far too little time, motivation and will. Ironically, even though 2009 has been one of the worst years I've experienced within at least the last decade, I'm feeling much more positive and optimistic about it.

By the time the month ends, my second novel is going to be complete, and I can't wait to see it in print. I was happy about my first one, but for some reason I'm feeling even more excited about this one. Maybe because it's ever-so-slightly more advanced, and a completely different style from my first novel. That and I've got numerous people excited about it, so I hope it follows through. But that's what this month is for. Hard work, and a lot of it.

Needless to say, I'll be spending a lot of time this month working solely on my novel, trying to get it picture perfect, then sending it off to my lovely friends who have volunteered to help edit, and finally get the cover art worked out, compliments of my good friend Kami, who also did my previous cover.
